Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about our AI literacy and continuous workflow stream training for Canadian enterprises — including what we are not.

Is Cogni Stream a wellness coaching, meditation, or life transformation service?

No. "Stream" is a brand metaphor for structured, sequential AI workflow training — not a mindfulness livestream, not a meditation subscription, and not a personal life transformation programme. Cogni Stream Inc. teaches enterprise readiness and governance-aware generative AI workflows for Canadian organizations using ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude under documented human oversight. We do not provide wellness coaching, guided meditation sessions, spiritual counselling, or promises of emotional breakthrough or personal reinvention. The `.life` domain reflects continuous professional learning — not holistic wellness or lifestyle coaching. If you need vocational AI tool training with guardrails and prompt engineering instruction, we are exactly who we say we are; if you need meditation instruction, wellness retreats, or life coaching, we are the wrong organization.

What background do stream participants need?

No programming or machine learning expertise is required for Stream 1. Cohort members should be comfortable with email, document editing, and reading organizational policies. Managers, compliance staff, operations leads, and knowledge workers all progress successfully through our chapters. Advanced streams assume completion of AI Literacy & Workflow Orientation or equivalent experience using generative AI tools in a corporate setting under existing review protocols.

Can teams join online, in-person, or hybrid?

All delivery formats flow through our studio. Default cohort workshops run in-person at our McGill College Avenue studio with hybrid seats for remote Canadian team members. Self-paced module bundles stream fully online with scheduled live Q&A checkpoints. Corporate team programmes can reach your premises anywhere in Canada. Session times are quoted in Eastern Time (America/Montreal).

How large are stream cohorts?

Public cohorts cap at sixteen participants to preserve facilitator attention during prompt engineering and governance exercises. Corporate team programmes scale to thirty with an assistant facilitator. Executive briefings remain limited to eight attendees.

What does corporate stream training cost?

Public streams range from C$675 to C$995 per participant. Corporate team programmes start at C$8,750 for a customized multi-day engagement. Half-day executive briefings are C$2,950 flat. We publish written CAD quotes before any booking is confirmed — no hidden fees.

What is Cogni Stream's cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations more than fourteen days before a scheduled workshop receive a full refund minus a C$50 administration fee. Cancellations within fourteen days may transfer once to a future stream cohort at no charge. Absent participants forfeit their seat without refund. Enterprise agreements may override these terms when signed separately.

How does Cogni Stream handle personal data under PIPEDA?

Enrollment forms capture only what we need to deliver training: name, email, organization, and dietary or accessibility notes. Participant lists are never sold or shared for marketing. Data rests on Canadian-hosted infrastructure with access limited to enrollment staff. See our Privacy Policy for full details and how to request access or deletion.

What do stream programmes NOT include?

Our training does not include job placement guarantees, salary promises, wellness coaching, meditation instruction, life transformation guidance, cryptocurrency or trading instruction, medical AI diagnostics, SaaS licence sales as a primary deliverable, or personal development retreats. We teach vocational AI workflow skills through sequential stream chapters — nothing beyond that scope.

What is your AI tool usage policy during stream workshops?

Cohort members may use organization-approved generative AI tools during stream exercises. We forbid entering confidential personal data, unreleased financial figures, or client-identifiable records into public models without anonymization. Facilitators demonstrate human-in-the-loop review on every AI-assisted draft. Hallucination awareness drills are mandatory in every stream chapter.
